Humana launches new well-being resources for Go365
Humana members who use Go365—the insurer’s virtual wellness and rewards program—will have new offerings through a number of well-recognized digital health tools in the industry.
DailyBurn, Fitbit, Noom and MindSciences will all give access to Go365 users as part of Humana’s expanded direct-to-consumer offerings for managing physical, emotional, and social health and wellness. Go365’s four new partners are available on eligible commercial Humana plans beginning this week.
Humana officials said the enhancements to the service will offer commercial group employers new ways to provide employees with best-in-class wellness programs as part of a competitive benefits package, while supporting employees to reduce health care costs. (Release)
340B Health names Maureen Testoni as full-time CEO
340B Health, a group that represents hospitals enrolled in the 340B drug discount program, has promoted its interim head to full-time CEO.
Maureen Testoni has served as interim president and CEO since April 2018, according to an announcement emailed to FierceHealthcare. Testoni has seven years of experience with the organization and previously ran its Legal, Policy and Governmental Affairs Division.
“Maureen Testoni is a dedicated, passionate and proven leader who will skillfully serve the members of 340B Health as well as our partners in the 340B field,” said Sam Ross, M.D., chief community health officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health and 340B Health’s board chair. (Release)
Advantia Health adds former CVS exec to board
Advantia Health, a healthcare company focused on women’s health, announced it is adding former CVS executive Mary Langowski to its board of directors.
Advantia has more than 140 providers across Virginia and Maryland and is seeking to expand nationally, officials said. Langowski was previously the executive vice president and chief strategy and corporate development officer at CVS Health.
Advantia also brought on Nathan Barbour as its chief growth officer. Barbour was formerly senior vice president of corporate development at Evolent, a company that partners with providers and health plans to make the transition from volume- to value-based care.
