About Angela Yang
Angela is a Nursing graduate of New York University, with a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, as a medical-surgical nurse before becoming a midwife. During her time there, she discovered her true passion for women’s health and decided to return to school to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University. She is now certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife.
Angela has been practicing full-scope midwifery in a private practice in Maryland for the last few years, managing numerous obstetrical and gynecological patients. Angela believes that decisions should be evidence-based and that there should be a balance between compassion and logic. She is passionate about educating women in advocating for themselves.
Born and bred in New York City, currently resides in Maryland with her husband and two sons. When she is not practicing midwifery, she enjoys water-related activities, traveling, kickboxing, yoga, looking up new recipes to try, and spending time with her family.
