About Dr. Cunningham
Thelma Denise Cunningham was born in Long Beach, California. She received her undergraduate degree in Science at Loyola Marymount University in Marina Del Rey. She took one year off to teach high school before receiving her medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her residency in Ob/Gyn was done at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. She spent two years stationed in Seoul, Korea and traveling throughout Asia before moving to Northern Virginia where she lives today with her husband and two young girls, Katie and Maddie.
