Advantia Health announces acquisition of Women’s Health Specialists, a leading practice specializing in gynecology and gynecologic oncology.

Advantia Health, a fast growing innovative healthcare company focused on women, announced that it has acquired Women’s Health Specialists, a leading practice specializing in gynecology and gynecologic oncology. Women’s Health Specialists is one of the most innovative health leaders in Maryland and Washington metropolitan area providing robotic surgery to perform advanced minimally invasive procedures that treat both gynecological and oncological diseases. This adds two new office locations (Rockville and Germantown, Maryland) to further enhance Advantia Health’s commitment to helping women manage their health and the health of their families.

Steren, MD; James F. Barter, MD; Ebony R. Hoskins, MD; Diane J. Snyder, MD; Amy L. Levav, MD; Candice Jones-Cox, MD; Nadine Flahary, NP; Alisa Studley, PA; and Nadine Thompson, PA. Drs. Steren, Snyder, Barter and Hoskins have also been recognized as “2017 Washingtonian Top Doctors” by Washingtonian. The surgery team at Women’s Health Specialists’ performs surgical procedures at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD and Advantia Health’s Indian Creek Surgery Center, Beltsville, Maryland. As part of Advantia’s Woman’s Health Hub Model, Woman’s Health Specialist’s Germantown Office now offers in-house access to mental health therapy and sonography.
