About Ivy
Ivy Li is a board-certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Georgetown University with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) in 2020 with acceptance into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Nursing Society. Prior to joining Physicians and Midwives, she worked as a registered nurse in primary and urgent care settings for two years.
Ivy was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California and always knew midwifery and women’s health were her calling into the nursing field. She attributes the compassionate nature of these specialties and the opportunities to make educational impacts for girls, women, and birthing persons alike as primary reasons why she wanted to become a nurse. She believes that everyone deserves care that is high-quality, evidence-based, and safe. She aims to empower her patients to become advocates for themselves and others and takes pride in making sure each of her patients feel respected and supported. Her clinical interests include contraceptive counseling, adolescent health, perinatal mood disorders, childbirth preparation, and family planning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new cities, hanging out on the lake, photography, and interior designing her own space.
